Description
Introducing Octagons is part of my 2D Shapes Unit. It is a useful activity for lower elementary grades, Foundation/Reception, year 1, and year 2, depending on the students. It includes a title page with plenty of space for the students to personalize, next it introduces the students to the shape of the octagon and its definition. It includes in-class worksheets, to be done independently or as a class, as well as homework sheets for the students to review what they have learned. The worksheets also include some hands-on-learning, where students are encouraged to find the shape at school and home.
