Description

Who says place value can’t be fun? Get your students excited about math this Easter with this hands-on, creative place value craft!


This activity combines concrete materials, creativity, and problem-solving to help students develop a deeper understanding of place value while having fun!


Students will design their own Easter Bunny using MAB blocks (base ten blocks) and calculate its total value—bridging the gap between concrete and representational thinking.



With the freedom to add as many arms, legs, or ears as they like, students will love how wacky and unique their bunnies turn out!


Once their bunny is complete, students will record and represent its value in multiple ways, including:

✔️ Standard Form

✔️ Expanded Form

✔️ Word Form

✔️ Partitioning into Hundreds, Tens, and Ones
