Description
This is a good game to consolidate the transition from fractions to tenths and hundredths. It targets place value nicely.
First, it is a worksheet with two players who have a pencil each and two six-sided dice. The throw of the dice will identify the fraction that needs to be converted. Once that is done the worksheet element is finished and the game begins with that player claiming the decimal number on the Bingo Board. When one player has three spaces in a row, horizontally, vertically or diagonally, they win, but the opposing player can steal a space before that happens. The fun keeps students highly engaged and asking for more, just what they need to master this step in learning about decimal place value.
