Description
This is the perfect game to introduce thirds with sixths and ninths. It lends itself to developing the concept of equivalence and the foundations will already there for understanding addition of fractions in Year 5.
The aim of the game is to throw the die and follow the game directions to build up the pizza. It's not all smooth going when the throw of the die means you can also lose or swap a piece.
If playing with larger groups you may have to print multiple copies of the pizza pieces.
