Oxford Word List Sight Word Books High Frequency Words Practice

This set of sight word books gives you an easy way to implement daily sight word practice into your reading curriculum.

Each sight word book includes four pages and focuses on one word from the Oxford word list.

Tasks include:

• read, trace, and write the word
• find and colour the word among other sight words
• fill in missing letters in the word
• read and write the word within in a decodable sentence

There is one book for each word on the Oxford first 100 words list, except for I and a. One of the tasks is to fill in missing letters in the word which would not work with a single letter.

This resource also includes:

• large sight word cards
• progress monitoring sheet

The sight word cards are half-page size making them large and easy-to-see.

The progress monitoring sheet breaks the words into sets of 10 with a star for students to colour at the end of each row. This encourages them to keep working towards mastery.
