From 1 January 2027, TPT's highest payout rate comes with a condition: you can only sell your resources on TPT. TeachBuySell pays 80%, has no yearly fee, and never asks for exclusivity.

What changed at TPT
Premium is ending
TPT is replacing its Premium Seller membership. Premium ends on 31 December 2026, so Premium sellers are choosing between Exclusive and Basic.
Exclusive pays 77.5%, on TPT only
US$59.95 a year. You agree to sell your digital resources only on TPT. You can promote them elsewhere, but every purchase has to go through TPT.
Basic lets you sell anywhere, at 55%
A one-off US$29. You can sell wherever you like, but you keep 55% of each sale, less US$0.30 per resource.

Questions
Can I sell on TeachBuySell and TPT at the same time?
Yes, as long as you are not a TPT Exclusive Seller. Exclusive Sellers agree to sell their digital resources only on TPT. If you are a TPT Basic Seller, or you leave TPT, you can sell here as well.
When do I need to decide?
TPT says Premium membership ends on 31 December 2026, so Premium sellers are choosing between Exclusive and Basic before then. You can open your TeachBuySell store at any time.
How do I move my TPT store?
Publish one listing first so it can be checked for quality. Then the TPT importer brings your products across in minutes: titles, descriptions, prices, images and previews, with categories already matched. Prices are converted from USD to AUD at a rate you choose. You then drop in your resource files, or a whole folder, and approve where each one goes.
Do my TPT reviews come across?
No. Your reviews stay on TPT, and your listings start fresh here.
What does it cost to sell on TeachBuySell?
A one-off $50 AUD to open your store. After that there is no yearly fee and no fee per sale. You keep 80% of every sale.
Who buys on TeachBuySell?
Australian teachers, from early childhood to Year 12. Resources made for Australian classrooms, or that work in any classroom, sell best.
Can I sell from outside Australia?

Do I keep the rights to my resources?
Yes. Your work stays yours. TeachBuySell only uses it to show, promote and deliver your listings here, and that ends when you remove a resource or close your store. Teachers who already bought it keep their copy.
When do I get paid?
On the 7th of each month, for everything you sold the month before. Payments go through Stripe and can take 3 to 5 business days to reach your bank.
